What to Expect

Sunday 10:30am

Join us for the Oakville Community Church Experience with a live message from Matthew Trottier at 2270 Speers Road, Oakville.

Our doors open at 10:00 AM, and the service begins at 10:30 AM. You’ll be greeted by our friendly volunteers who are happy to assist with any questions you might have. If you’re new, they’ll also help you find your way around. Grab a coffee from the lobby and take some time to connect with others before the service starts. There's plenty of parking on-site, and we reserve spots for first-time visitors.

At the beginning of the service, we share key updates and upcoming events within the church. This is a great time to hear about ways you can get involved, from community outreach to small group opportunities. Our team keeps announcements brief, ensuring they highlight what’s important while leaving plenty of time for worship and the message.

After the announcements, we enter into a time of worship, led by our worship team. Expect a mix of contemporary worship songs and timeless hymns, all designed to help you connect with God. Whether you feel like standing, singing along, or simply listening, you are welcome to participate however you feel comfortable. Worship songs are spread throughout the service, typically including 4-5 songs.

We take time during each service to pray as a community. Whether you have personal requests, are praying for others, or are simply listening, this is a moment to come together in faith and lift up needs to God. Our pastor or a member of the leadership team leads the prayer, often inviting the congregation to reflect quietly or join in group prayer.

Before the message, we engage in Scripture Reading. A designated reader, usually a member of the congregation or leadership team, will share a passage of Scripture relevant to that day’s sermon. This moment invites everyone to focus on the Word of God, preparing our hearts and minds for the message.

Our lead pastor shares a message rooted in Scripture, with practical insights for living out your faith day to day. Sermons usually last around 30 minutes and are designed to be engaging and applicable to people from all walks of life. If you miss a week or want to catch up, you can watch or listen to the sermon on our website after the service.

Children in grades 1-6 are invited to join our Acorns program, which runs during the service from 10:45 AM - 11:30 AM. During the service, the kids will be invited to head off to their own space for a fun and interactive Bible-based program, filled with crafts, games, snacks and lessons designed to nurture their faith in an engaging way. Don’t worry – our trained volunteers are there to ensure your child is safe, happy, and learning.

When the service ends around 11:30 AM, we invite you to stay for some coffee and fellowship in the lobby. It’s a great time to meet others, ask questions, or just relax and enjoy a chat with new friends. Whether you’re new or have been attending for years, we’d love to connect with you after the service.
